Spaghetti is a long, thin, cylindrical pasta typical of Italian tradition. Spaghetti is made of semolina or flour and water. Italian dried spaghetti is made from durum wheat semolina, and cooked in a large pot of salted, boiling water then drained in a colander (Italian: scolapasta). In Italy, spaghetti is generally cooked “al dente”, just fully cooked and still firm.
